Cooking Outside the Box: Andouille Cornbread

Lazy Cornbread

Okay, you caught me…I’m lazy. I want to eat something tasty, but put in the minimal effort necessary—and already simple recipes are no exception!  Without furthor ado: lazy chicken andouille cornbread.

Preheat oven per the cornbread packet instructions (375° F). Mix

Pour into cooking container (I used a 9×9 casserole dish) and mix half-heartedly. Bake for 35 minutes, until golden brown.

  1. Visiting from the A to Z Blog Challenge today. What a treat to discover the recipe for the cornbread. I especially liked the “mix half-heartedly” direction. I think I might be able to manage that. Looking forward to reading more.
